Premium Gift Fulfilment - P&O Cruises, Iona Launch

We were approached by event design and production agency, Dellar Davies to work in collaboration, using our gift distribution service to create a wrapping scheme, pack and ship nearly 2500 gifts for the launch of new P&O Cruises' ship, 'Iona'.

The gift was to accompany a spectacular online launch event. The gift contents had already been decided and sourced as P&O Cruises were keen to use their brand partners to create a full brand experience.

Objectives:

Give guests a premium brand experience when receiving and opening the gift.
To align with the online launch event using the wrapping scheme and the gift card communications.
To showcase the brand partners whose products were included in the gift.
Make the process as smooth as possible for our key contacts at Dellar Davies and P&O Cruises.
Ensure gifts were received in time for the event.
To make sustainable choices where possible.

Solution:

We created a project management plan, sharing key dates and deadlines with the client. We worked within the time frame given to create two schemes as there were varying gifts for different groups of attendees:

VIPs - Luxury, recycled, keepsake box with royal blue ribbon and tissue wrap and grey shred. Branded elements were incorporated from the box, ribbon and inner sealing sticker. Creating a premium experience when discovering the gift.

Key Stakeholders - Kraft, recycled mailing boxes with the same royal blue tissue, kraft recycled shred, branded sealing sticker. Finished with a full colour branded wrap around the box to create that same feeling of excitement when opening.

All boxes included a 'menu card' detailing the contents and their significance, further helping to bring the gift to life.

Gifts were sent throughout the UK and internationally with tracked shipment for delivery in time to be enjoyed at the event.

Working with Gilded Bee was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The attention to detail was brilliant and when the client says things like 'fantastic' and 'an absolute roaring success' you know you made the right decision.
